Four Corners iPad App Lets You Catch Up On 50 Years Of News

If you just emerged from your nuclear bunker after the Cuban missile crisis, welcome to the future! You might want to catch up on the past 50 years or so of Aussie news quick smart, so get yourself an iPad and download the new Four Corners app. It’s free!

The app streams a selection of 75 different episodes from the ABC vault directly to your Apple tablet, so it’s probably best to do it over Wi-Fi. What’s Wi-Fi you ask? Man, you do have some catching up to do!

On top of individual episodes, there’s behind the scenes footage and basic overviews of each decade the program has been on air. Unfortunately though, it seems like the new Four Corners app comes at the expense of the program in iView. And at the moment, the app is iPad only.
