Considering the whole premise of FetchTV is that it’s connected to the Internet for content, it’s amazing that it’s taken the company this long to launch a mobile app that offers remote control to the PVR’s key functions. Still, better late than never!
The app for iPhone and iPad, turns the iDevice into a fully functioning remote control for your PVR, schedule recordings remotely while browsing the EPG and browse movies and watch trailers from your mobile device. It also integrates social network functions like Facebook and Twitter.
Android owners will have to wait until Q1 next year before they get access to their PVR from their smartphone unfortunately, but given the wait all Fetch owners have already enjoyed, a couple of extra months won’t hurt…

Monday, December 5, 2011 at 6:15 PMFetchTV is the biggest waste of time ever. Buggy, Slow and you have to reboot the box at least once a week. Best thing that box ever gave me was the 1TB HDD I ripped out of it for my PC. replaced it with a 160GB and sent the box back it iinet.
