Turkey wants to build a Disaster Prevention and Education Centre in Istanbul. This is the project proposal by ODA Architecture. It looks like the scene of a disaster itself, which, you know, it’s exactly what the designers wanted.
[T]his formal arrangement suffers the effect of a natural disaster — earthquake — and falls down until achieving its structural stability on the ground creating as well the landscape topography with the same principle.
The only bad thing is that, in an event of an actual earthquake, this would probably fall down in a really bad way. [ODAA via ArchDaily]
