An UFO was seen on top of a military truck four days ago travelling down US 77. Residents of Cowley County, Kansas, thought the military were trying to haul an alien spaceship wrapped in plastic. On plain sight. In daylight.
Come on Cowley County citizens, you can do better than this.
The answer is more mundane than that: the UFO was actually an X-47B Unmanned Combat Air System, a drone designed to operate from aircraft carriers. Northrop Grumman has confirmed they were shipping the lethal wing to the Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland. There it will be tested on an airstrip designed as a carrier runway.
If you watch the video, however, what will really surprise you is its size. This thing is gigantic. [Defense Tech]

Eccentric
Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 8:49 AMIt’s obviously a wrapped up stealth drone, you can see the intake quite clearly in the shape at the front of the thing! Silly bloody yanks, as if the Government would cart a UFO down the main street in plain daylight.
Eccentric
Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 8:54 AMDon’t know if I’d call it huge though, compared to a full sized manned fighter, they can get quite a lot more of these on board a carrier than fighters etc…

Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 8:45 PMYou’ve got to admit it’s fairly large. I never knew those drones were that big, thought they were a little smaller. But yeah, the intake is clear as day.

Monday, January 30, 2012 at 3:30 PMIt actually was a UFO, the whole unmanned plane thing was just convientent!
They just made a cardboard shell around the ACTUAL UFO to make it look like one of their new unmanned drones.
In fact… the whole unmanned drone thing is a cover up.
They are actually retrofitted UFO’s.
It’s true, Elvis told me… and you don’t doubt the king!
