12 Santa-Endorsed Smoking Ads

What? Santa’s got a tough job — stuffing oneself down a chimney is no easy feat. And have you ever smelled a reindeer? Worse than a Tauntaun. So when his shift is over, Santa could use a smoke. Our friends at Oobject have assembled 12 of his favourite brands.

After you burn through this list, check out these less-than-honest cigarette ads, condom commercials from around the world, and these unimpressive computer spots

“Guard against Throat-Scratch”? That is the most absurd thing I have ever seen.

Its interesting that smoking rates among the young is on the increase. I guess subtle product placement in movies, TV shows… is paying off :-(

Really it’s been in constant decline in Oz for at least the last 5 years in all demographics except for 18-24 females, could just be an abnomily.

These sorts of adds make it very tempting to smoke I have to say. I hate cigarettes and avoid them, but there is no denying these images and choice of words would entice the young to atleast try them.

I do enjoy quality tobacco in the form of cigars/pipes a few times a year, Christmas or New Years is a great time to have a cigar and celebrate the year.

I could be wrong, but didn’t the modern version of Santa Claus as seen above start out as a shill for Coca Cola??
