Why Photoshop Will Never Cease To Amaze Me

Or better said, the people using Photoshop would never cease to amaze me.

The thing I like most is the way he paints in greyscale and then modifies colours using the Hue & Saturation panel. The use of the Liquify tool to adjust the volumes is really smart too — and quite effective.

Note: before playing, turn off your volume and play some other music. Trust me, you don’t want to destroy the bliss of watching this time lapse with the video’s soundtrack. [Buzzfeed]

Agreed… background was very classy before he destroyed the overall effect – shame.

This is definitely down to the user. I’m amazed at how little Photoshop has advanced in the past decade or more. They add a few things here and there but most of what this guy does could have been done just as easily in v3, 15 years ago. Liquify is about the only newer tool he uses. I use it every day at work, because I work on a Mac, but at home I have much better tools for doing most things (all of which are non-destructive).

Agreed. It’s so easy to criticize, not so easy to shut up and do better.

the song is about the girl the author drew .
    Just something like:
I’ve panted you , but have not found your love…
And my picture suddenly turned to life…
I am tired of living without you, and that is why i painted you….
The Girl of my dream , today you are not with me…i am tired to live without …

Actually, the lines of the song are pretty moving, though i agree that the music score is not appropriate one.
