Adobe has kicked its support for Android tablets up a few notches today, launching six all-new image and design tools specifically for owners of tablets running Google’s Honeycomb version of the OS.
The most exciting one for most users will be Photoshop Touch, which brings a feature packed version of Photoshop to tablets. Costing under a tenner, Photoshop Touch introduces full support for layered images to mobile, along with the usual selection tools, filters, effects and more.
Also announced for Android tabs by Adobe today is Adobe Ideas, which is a vector-based drawing tool built to give users full mobile compatibility with its popular Adobe Illustrator image design format.
And there are four more — CSS layout toolAdobe Proto, image viewer for creativesAdobe Debut, pretentious “moodboard” tool Collage and colour theme creator Adobe Kuler.
All six apps have been designed to integrate withAdobe Creative Cloud, Adobe’s new file managing and version syncing tool that’ll let users of the tablet apps access their files across various devices. Adobe has been awfully busy. [Photoshop Touch via Adobe via Gizmodo UK]
