We’ve already seen some unofficial shots of the Panasonic GX1, which is shaping up to be the company’s flagship Micro Four-Thirds camera. But now an official video has surfaced on the Panasonic site, which confirms many of the details previously suspected.
4/3 rumours discovered the video, which reveals that the camera is equipped with Panasonic’s Venus Engine. The GX1 has a 16 megapixel Live MOS sensor, built-in flash, customisable hard buttons, auto focus that responds in 0.09 seconds, and will be compatible with the X series motorised zoom lens. Panasonic is expected to announce the camera early this week, which makes this video’s appearance on their site all the more odd. But whatever, the thing looks sweet.
