Optus Picks Up Dell Streak 7 And Acer Iconia A501

Optus’ latest tablet push is dual-headed, with the Dell Streak 7 available on contract or prepaid, and the Acer Iconia A501 on contract only.

The A501 will be available only on contract on a $39 plan over 24 months, with a minimum cost of $936, while the Streak is available on contract for $29 month over 24 months ($696 minimum) or outright for prepaid customers for $279. [Optus]

    two outdated tablets… Why dont they pick up the Galaxy 8.9 (no legal disputes on the 8.9″ or 7″ models) or the EEE Slider??

    Outdated? Are you kidding me? Yes, if they weren’t on honeycomb but these tablets are a couple months old and both are very similar to the Galaxy tabs.
