Lunchtime Deal: 15m CAT5 Cable $3.79

Gizmodo AU

Sure, it doesn’t have the raw sex appeal of, say, a shiny new tablet, but networking cable has feelings too. Or would, it if it wasn’t just handy cable. You might have to be quick (or call your local store), but OfficeWorks is flogging off 15m CAT5 cables for the low, low price of $3.79. And at least as I’m writing this, they’re in stock. Bugger, I wish it was CAT6, I need some for my AV unit so CAT5 will not be good enough, specially over that distance.

it would appear it’s only Cat 5… Can’t see anything that says 5e.

Damn. too slow, already sold out. It would have been really handy to have a spare 15 metre cable for when i move around the xbox.

Just purchased one from office works. The printing on the side of the cable says it’s a cat5e ( 2X 4 X 24 AWG Patch Chord UTP cat5e)
