
LG’s long-running partnership with fashion people Prada will continue in 2012, with both companies announcing a renewed friendship — and revealing the above sketch of a future Prada-branded smartphone.
The phone is officially known as the PRADA Phone by LG 3.0, with the concept sketches showing us a pretty standard modern black slab of a phone made a little more fashionable thanks to rounded sides and, well, the Prada logo. There’s no mention of the software, but given LG’s current hobby of releasing a new Android every fortnight or so, it’s a pretty safe bet it’ll arrive running Google’s OS.
And while LG’s mobile division is floundering a little these days, it’s worth remembering that the company’s original Prada was a really rather impressive touchscreen phone with a 3″ capacitive display, before such technology became the norm.
