Elves Must Live Where The Aurora And The Moonbow Meet

If you go to Skógafoss — a waterfall in the south of Iceland — when the full moon is shining bright during the aurora season, perhaps you would catch this magical scene. And meet an elvish princess who looks like Björk.

This image was captured last October by Steffan Vetter. It shows a moonbow, the full moon’s light scattered by Skógafoss’ water mist, under the Northern Lights. [Nuits Sacrees via NASA APOD]
