It’s good to know the James Bond movie producers pay attention to Gizmodo. Just three weeks ago we were begging for more gadgets in Skyfall, the next Bond flick, and now British actor Ben Whishaw has been cast as gadget-wrangler Q.

That doesn’t necessarily mean that we’ll see Whishaw handing Daniel Craig a Bluetooth-enabled shark repellent iPhone. If the serious tone of Craig-era bond is maintained, he might just hand over keys to whatever car has scored a product placement deal this time around. But it’s a start. [BBC News]
