Sydney artist, Neon Stereo, has produced official remixes for the likes of Deadmau5, Ou Est Le Swimming Pool and Steve Angello, and now he’s come up with what could be the first dance track featuring Siri’s synthesised monotone. It comes out on Ministry of Sound Australia’s Hussle Recordings next week — check it out after the jump.
Now before you go shouting “not another Siri post”, you should know that Giz is all about supporting Aussie artists, especially those who use technology. If you know of an artist we should catch up with, drop us a note at gizmodo.com.au/contact.
I wonder what Apple will think of this track? It’s just sampling really, and I’m sure it won’t be the last time we see voice technology used in this way. If you’re into it, you can pick up Massive Bass from iTunes on November 18, or beatport.com a day earlier. More on Neon Stereo at SoundCloud or Facebook.
