You Can Actually Turn Your DNA Into Houseware Decors

It’s one thing to put your own personal touch into the appearance of your home. But basing your household aesthetic around your own unique DNA signature takes that idea up more than a few notches.

DNA11 wants to take the visual representation of your DNA and print it up on rugs, bowls, prints, wallpapers and waterwalls. They currently have a full-blown campaign going to raise awareness for their project. If enough people vote in favour of any of these products, they will send it into production.

But it wont be cheap. Rugs will range between $US1000 and $US5000. The Waterwall starts at $US10,000. The other two… I shudder to think of the prices, but I still want all of it! [DNA11]

A plain old DNA portrait is surprisingly cheap however about $300

They also have some other cool things like the Kiss Print.

If that water feature is as awesome as it looks, with little lights or whatever those things are, than I can see how it would be that expensive (plus the cost of the sciencey stuff required to get a visual representation of ones DNA – that equipment is DAMN expensive)…
