Written off at its inception, Apple’s iconic media player turns 10 today. Despite iOS devices taking more and more attention these days, Apple’s still churning out the iPod classic a decade after it was unveiled.
Macworld has a nice piece up regarding the genesis of the iPod. While I wouldn’t buy one today — and I’m frankly a little surprised at the fact that Apple’s kept it on as a product line — there’s no doubting its role in the rise of Apple over the past 10 years.
