Super Slow Motion Ocean Waves Look Like Delicious Gigantic Jelly

The Phantom HD Gold, a camera that brings out the life in things by capturing it in super slow motion, was used to film the oh so lovely ocean. Everything takes on a different personality in slow motion: waves look like jello, whitecaps look like cocaine and surfers, well, surfers are always awesome.

The video was shot by Chris Bryan and he seems to have a great handle on handling the Phantom. He put the Phantom HD Gold in a waterproof housing so he could get up close and personal with the waves. Seeing surfers ride the monstrous waves is beautiful. [Vimeo via Chris Bryan via Hypebeast]

I love slow-mo, but I had to switch this off 30 seconds in because of the shit music.

    Wow great footage!
After showing the clip to a girlfriend of mine I asked did any of those shots look familiar from her point of view. For some reason she didn’t find it as funny as I did.
