Giant, Spinning Human Head Water Fountain Is Oddly Mesmerising

Metalmorphosis is a 14-ton water fountain that’s shaped like a human head. On top of that, the sculpture is made with over 35 steel layers that can independently rotate 360 degrees to re-arrange its face and trip your brains out.

The mirrored water fountain is made by Czech sculptor David Černý and is located in Whitehall Technology Park in Charlotte, North Carolina. Watching the layers rotate while still spitting water is a lot funner than it sounds. Check it out here:

    Cool sculpture.

You only need to watch the video between 1min and 2min marks, the rest of the video is pointless and boring.

Pity there isn’t any footage of the water part in the video though.

Freakin cool. I wish we had something like this in Sydney, Australia. The government is too tight and the people lack creativity.

I don’t know about you, but I’d rather my tax dollar was going towards fixing up roads, education, health care etc. over a metal mans face…

something that would actually benefit the community as a whole far outweighs a fountain in my book
