Android Appalooza Notes: Evernote

Gizmodo AU

You’re astonishingly spoilt for choice when it comes to note taking applications for Android. Evernote’s cross platform cloud-syncing capabilities make it our notes application of choice.

At a basic typing level, notes are notes, and any note-taking application should transform your finger taps into reminders, lists and random jottings as best suits your needs. Evernote doesn’t do anything particularly clever with basic note taking, but the cloud back end allows you to synchronise notes between a growing number of platforms, meaning that the notes you take on your Android smartphone or tablet while out and about are sitting right there on your PC when you get back to your desk. It’s seamless, it’s simple and it’s also free. [Evernote]

One thing to also note (sorry) is that other apps are coming out with Evernote support.

CadreBible (http://cadrebible.com/) is an Australian company which has, IMHO, produced the best bible app for the Android platform. You can take notes in CadreBible and have them automatically sync to Evernote and then to your other devices from there.
