I mean, really, is there a stunt insane enough not to try in a wingsuit? On second thoughts, don’t answer that. Wingsuits scare the heck out of me, although there’s no denying that they can make for some awesome video. Like, say… jumping through a hole in a mountain. Not that this is totally insane in any way.
Thanks to Chris for sending this link in. Just watching this is enough to make my head spin; I’m glad that’s not me in the suit.

Monday, September 26, 2011 at 1:52 PMIf I had the money I’d love to get some skydiving/wingsuit lessons (you need something like 200 skydives before you should be using a wingsuit).

Monday, September 26, 2011 at 3:19 PMJust finished my first sky dive at Wollongong and I simply loved it. I am planning to take up a course which will give me a license to go solo. It’s just a matter of time before I start doing this :) Pretty excited and just can’t wait. If only someone could sponsor me instead of me holding this day job to fund my future free fall :)

Plus they should put a wingsuit chase through that mountain in the next Bond film.

Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 10:49 PMThat’s a bloody HUGE hole in a mountain compared to what he was aiming for in his “Flying the Crack” video (or something similar sounding). In that one he was aiming for two party balloons at the entrance to a narrow gully.
