Watch A Water Fountain Animate In Real Life

The Bellagio water fountains ain’t got nothing on this. This water fountain in Osaka Station, Japan, is so amazing that it can tell you the time, draw pictures of leaves, show music notes, spell words and do a ton more. It’s like watching animation but with water. [Freshome]

Hyundai used this for one of their TV ads. Crap ad, but incredible and hypnotic technology! This is one of those installations I wouldn’t mind Melbourne City Council copying and putting up somewhere around the CBD :)

Thats a good idea. Melbourne City already wastes pointless amounts of money on random crap anyway

I could see them throwing M.C.Escher patters and stuff through it.

I thought the flowers/trees were pretty tame compared with what you could do with a bit of imagination.
