Justin Kemble is that dumbass. That’s him above, looking especially debonair on Facebook. The ATF seized his gun, which he bought from his former stepfather, who got it from Craigslist. So it was all totally legit. Anyway, Justin got so, so, so angry that he decided to let everyone on Facebook know that he had more guns, and was going to “murk that c**ksucker” shop owner.
Word got back to the authorities, but they had no idea what to make of Justin’s highbrow slang, and had to consult Urban Dictionary, which told them “the word ‘murk’ referred to physically beating someone so severely as to cause their death”. They even printed out definitions to include in the criminal report.
So quick recap: illegal firearm, Craigslist gun purchase, Facebook death threat, federal agents on urbandictionary.com looking up “murk that c**ksucker”. If that’s not America, I don’t know what is. [The Smoking Gun]

Not really such a silly thing to do then.
In fact, I’d go so far as to say clever thinking on the ATF’s part

Monday, September 5, 2011 at 12:06 AMObviously, the definition of the term “murk” was kinda murky to the ATF. Therefore, to avoid a murked-up legal case against this murkwit, the ATF had to un-murk their murkabulary in order to obtain a successful and non-murked conviction in a murkable court-of-law …
Although, would the prosecution also have to prove if the shop owner is truly a c**ksucker? … I’m sure the defence team could hinge their entire case on this (ala OJ Simpson with their classic “redirection strategy”).
