The Mesmerising Effect Of Destruction In Reverse

It may be the oldest trick in the book, but there’s something about this backwards destruction video that mesmerises me. Perhaps it’s the editing combined with the music. Maybe the slow-motion filming.

Probably it’s a combination of both, but I love it. Filmaker James Miller shot this with a Sony FS100 at 50p at the The British United Shoe Machinery Company in Leicester. It seems to be a preview of a larger project. [Vimeo via This Is Colossal]

    Thats the soundtrack from the movie moon, I knew I recognised the start bit somewhere. Though the video could have used more destruction, nothing major happened

    I love the Moon movie, such a good indie flick. Love the soundtrack more tho!
