Stunning Star Trails Over Australia’s Lake Eppalock

Lincoln Harrison tells the Daily Mail that he only bought his first camera in October last year: a Nikon D3100. Since then, he’s also picked up a D7000. As you can see, he’s certainly got the eye, and it seems the required patience, too. He spent up to 15 hours overnight in freezing conditions to grab this watery sunrise near Bendigo Victoria.

The star trails are captured by long exposure as the earth rotates. Lincoln says he shoots at least two or three times a week – you can checkout his amazing landscapes at [500px via Daily Mail]
