Sleepbox Is A Tiny Hotel Room For Airport Layovers

Sleepbox is a self-contained hotel room for airports and other public places. Designed by Russian architects at the Arch Group, each Sleepbox has all the amenities you need to catch some shut eye while you wait for your next flight.

Inside each Sleepbox are up to three beds with self-changing sheets, an LED reading lamp, a nightstand and storage for your luggage. Some models are even geek-friendly with charging outlets, built-in WiFi and a TV with a touchscreen monitor.

The first Sleepbox was installed last month at the Sheremetyevo International Airport in Moscow, Russia. Weary travellers with some time on their hands can rent the Sleepbox for as little as 30 minutes or as long as several hours. [Arch Group via Dezeen]

    Pretty cool idea, but still have issues with the personal space. You share this cramped little box with 2 random guys and leave your luggage while you get some shut-eye?

    maybe it’s more for like families the three people version? I would NOT want to share with randoms. How long till people start using them to have sex in? haha
