Schuyler Towne, a man who loves locks more than you’ll love anything, is hosting a 24-part video course on how to pick locks. With any luck, you can become the next great lock-picker after watching it (or at least, get yourself in your apartment when you lock yourself out).
All the videos are on YouTube and they cover everything from what you’ll need to how Medeco Locks work to picking with half-diamonds and rakes. I don’t even know what I’m saying anymore. It’s comprehensive and a little bit intimidating but can you think of a better way to spend a lazy weekend (or workday)? Admit it, we’ve all wanted to learn how to pick a lock once in our life. Friday, September 23, 2011 at 5:21 PMExcept most burglar’s are idiots, who couldn’t pick a lock even *with* these videos to help them. The ol’ screwdriver jimmy is as close as they get, which is very detectable and thus insurance will cover you.
Slightly off topic towards the end, but you get my point :p
