So much news passes before our collective eyes every day that we couldn’t possibly cover it all. Mostly because much of it isn’t worth covering! But here are a some borderline tidbits we passed on, just in case.

Light painting is a terrific photographic trick, one that just got cooler-looking with an aerosal can shaped container with an interchangeable LED in place of a nozzle. You can tell that this alleged Google SIM card is fake for two reasons. 1) It doesn’t make any sense. 2) It’s not accompanied by a twee ad campaign. OK, OK, three reasons: the people who made it up admitted to making it up.

Guests at a W Hotel in London will be able to ride this steel strip-wheeled novelty bike all around the city until late October.
