As much as I hate heights, this would be something i’d do if I had the chance.

Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 2:39 PMGoodness that’s quite a photo.
The stars are quite visible here, too. Often with real space photos I find they’re not as visible? Quite cool.

Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 3:41 PMOh, so incredibly jealous.
Ain’t it a wonder that we pay so little attention to people and things heading off into space today? And that we do not scream our heads off at politicians for not supporting space travel and exploration more?
And yet, if we could, I bet a huge portion of the world would jump at the chance to be sitting in that seat.
I long for something to ignite our space thinking imagination again. Thanks for sparking mine!

Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 4:17 PMOohhh It’s Brisbane and the Gold Coast
(I’m pretty sure)
I just love the way the atmosphere shows up in this shot too.
I think I’d like to be whomever took the photo too. Awesome view.

Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 8:25 PMWhat makes you think it’s SE Queensland? From the way the shot was taken, it could be over any coastal region in the world. And the orientation doesn’t even give anything away. It could be a photo of the Western African coast for all we know (despite the light)

Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 5:16 PMi agree, i think it’s brissy and goldy.
Just below the main groups of lights looks like Byron Bay coz of the way the land is more easterly than anything near it.
