The Ridimpossibly Small Nanorigami

Anja Markiewicz is a sorcerer. She and her friends are capable of materialising wonderful animals and figures smaller than a nail out of one inch paper. That micro-rabbit stole my heart, until the mini-dragon ate it. [Flickr via This Is Colossal]

I used to try making cranes as small as I could. I got them to the size of the tiny blue one above but the quality suffers.

Some of those are incredible in the detail and complexity.

It all pales in comparison to some of the stuff out there though:

Photo #2 – Poor guy, thats one small cock

OK, couldn’t resist. In all honesty tho, these are amazing. Anyone who hasn’t done any papercraft before won’t appreciate the precision it takes even to make regular sized models and origami, let alone at this scale. Beautiful stuff.
