The iPhone and iPad are convenient for a lot of reasons, but the ability to type quickly or in great quantities is not one of them. Thus this Kickstarter campaign for the Wingstand.

The Wingstand is very simple: just a few pieces of injection-moulded plastic, which clip your iPad or iPhone to a Bluetooth keyboard so you can see what you’re typing. At $US20 the stand is a tad steep for what it is, but now that the project has met its fundraising goal, maybe the stands will soon be available for cheaper. [Kickstarter via OhGizmo]
