So I’m outside grabbing lunch and notice one of the local cafés getting its knives overhauled by this awesome Suzkuki GN250 with a generator and sharpening stone attached to it. I’m sorry, but that’s just wicked. Nice one Vicky!

Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 1:33 PMErrr… good way to fsck your knives!
They would have to be seriously rooted in the first place to warrant running them over a grinder.

Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 1:52 PMHaha, glad to see him get some attention, he’s been doing it for years. He’s a bit of a local legend in the inner west. Lots of the cafe owners know him by name.

Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 1:53 PMI saw 2 at the servo this morning. not the same bike, they were on 125s I think. but they had matching jackets & crash hats, which adds to the awesome.

Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 2:00 PMI saw this setup in Sydney a month ago, but it was a chick, operating it. And yeah, that’s not a generator, it’s a petrol motor. Would have to be a huge generator to power a grinder that big for long, and it’s not the most efficient to petrol power a generator to be used to electrically power a grinder, when you can cut out the middle man…
