Michael Dell Snipes At HP Social Media Intern In Epic Twitter Battle

August 21, 2011: The day billionaire Michael Dell got in a tit-for-tat scuffle with someone from HP, probably some poor social media intern who drew the weekend straw this week, about HP’s withdrawal from the consumer PC space.

The image above, which was compiled using screengrabs over at CNET, does not include the earlier August 18 tweets that Dell used to bait the poor PR schmuck tasked with watching HP’s social media monitoring software (Radian6, perhaps?). Hit the source link to see those epic gems! [CNET]

How would I say goodbye to HP?

“Don’t let the door hit your ass on the way out.”

    “On second thoughts… DO.”

mr dell should focus on making laptops that stay together for longer than the warranty, rather than tweeting about competition leaving.

Whaddya talking about? I’ve had 4 Dell laptops and they have all been incredibly reliable. I replaced my M4400 earlier this year but can’t bring myself to put it up on eBay, it has served me so well for almost 3 years now. Of course, you get what you pay for and all but one has been a Precision workstation. You can’t expect to pay bottom dollar and get top quality.

        +1

I work for Hp, and people complain saying that their $599 Compaq (this is in Aus btw) should last more then 3 years, you want one that will last that long, get a business grade lol
