Lightning Nails Tree, Nearly Takes Dude Filming With It

You know how your mum always told you not to take shelter under a tree during a thunderstorm? Here’s why. You may want to put your headphones on for this one due to some NSFW language.

Of COURSE it occurs as soon as he points the camera down to the ground.

    ROFL…
That’s the fastest I’ve ever seen someone move from one end of a house to the other.

Hope you remembered to change your shorts… lol

Calling hoax…. you ever seen a tree hit by lightning? The get splintered into millions of pieces. No thunder heard anywhere else either….. Last time a bolt of lightning went off within a km of my house the thunder nearly shook the house from its foundations.

Having seen a tree hit by lightning I can say they don’t all explode like you say. One behind my house was still fine, only one little bit of the tree exploded out and sent a piece of the tree bout 2 feet long into the ground like a stake.

It also was only 1 loud bang, no vibrations etc. We were less then 50m away from it.

Around the globe lightning strikes the planet hundreds of times per hour. A bolt randomly strikes the tree in this guys front yard and he considers it an act of god……religious types make me laugh.

I know I sound like a dufus (was conciously trying not to swear) and it’s not nearly as intense as that guy’s, but:

The start of the video is when I started filming. Lucky shot.
