HP’s Got Some Free Apps For Your Firesale TouchPad

Are you one of the lucky jackasses who got in on the $98 TouchPad bonanza? Then you’re a jerk. I hate you. And also, HP has a cache of apps (normally $US31 total) to give you for free.

The apps include Glimpse, which improves the multitasking capabilities on the TouchPad, some novelties and games, and strangely, a comprehensive field guide of North American birds. (No really — I hate you.) [HP via Technologizer]

Except the only one I’m interested in, Glimpse, “Isn’t available in your market”.

Does Gizmodo want to follow this up with the local HP?

It is promised to be released by HP in other markets ‘soon’.. probably about 1 hour before the offer expires, judging by their recent past behaviours!!

Aww.. don’t be angry at us.. (but it is a really nice machine once ‘tweaked’! :)

“Then you’re a jerk. I hate you.” a tad uncalled for and unprofessional – even if said in jest. Gizmodo has sunk to new lows.

Do you get all puffed up at dinner when friends make a joke at your expense too? Not everything someone says is a deeply personal insult.

“These promo codes are only for use in the U.S.; check back soon for promo codes in other countries where TouchPad is available.”

    Don’t forget Australia, HP!
