Google Will Search For Anything, You Only Need To Ask

It’s official. The human arm is now a vestigial limb. It no longer serves a purpose now that you can search Google with naught more than the melodious sound of your voice.

Voice search is currently only available to Chrome users and requires — obviously — a microphone to work. But, in addition to normal Google searches, the service also works for Google Maps and Earth — simply speak the name of the city or place to pull it up. And after a brief hands-on, I can say it works reliably — even when with my best Scotty voice and while first addressing my computer as “Computer”. [The Next Web]

I shudder to think what it would think I was saying,… I’ve heard my own speaking voice on a recording, and it was pretty awful!! #[
