Fuji’s X50 Might Be The Tiny Camera Every Hipster Will Want

Fuji’s X100 is amazing. (Hint: review coming soon.) But at $US1200, it costs more than an entry-level DSLR. Enter the X50: A rumoured $US600 follow-up that’s stripped down, with a slightly smaller 2/3-inch sensor — more like an LX5 fighter, but still retro and awesome.

Update: A tipster has seen this coming month’s product guide for Promaster Products, and here’s the details they list:

X50
12 MP 2/3-inch EXR CMOS
4x f/2 manual zoom lens (Fujinon)
Optical view finder
1080p movie
RAW+JPEG
X100 build quality
Price $US599.95

So basically, it’d be the exact same as the X100, but with a slightly lesser sensor, for half price. Sounds potentially fantastic.
