A Grill That Fits In Your Freaking Pocket

The Pocket Grill is a portable grill that can be folded to fit inside a pocket. Seriously, it’s that small. When you unfold it, you have a sizable 0.6m by 0.3m grill that can hold up to 4.5kg of meat.

It’s versatile too, as you can use the pocket grill with or without the leg stands, so you can put it on top of a park GGQ pit or set it against a campfire. It could be very convenient when you’re roughing it (or if you’re just one of those people who love to grill). The Pocket Grill is currently a Kickstarter project and costs 40 bucks to get one. Check out the whole project here (with more videos on how it works). [Kickstarter via Wired]

All well and good, but clean-up looks like it would suck. All that itty-bitty mesh, and joints with grease and soot in them… :p

Nah, looks like it disassembles completely (can’t see video @ work :–P). So would be simple to clean with a brush and soapy water. Although there’s something to be said for leaving the burnt remains actually on the mesh itself…
