Your Parents’ Opinion Of Your Computer Skills Might Be Inflated

OK, so it’s a pain that every time the littlest thing goes wrong with your parents’ computer you’re their go-to IT guy or gal. But let’s be honest: there’s something not terrible about being a sci-fi hero – even if the real Neo is a search engine. [TNW via 9gag]

    I find this insulting :-)
My first PC was an IBM AT in 1985. My first o/s was DOS 2. I’ve run my own Linux servers and network.
At age 62 my children come to me with their computer problems. (One of them is a UTS computer programming student!)

Was the opposite with me. Parents blamed me for any computer trouble they had, and believed they themselves were the only ones to fix it.

    Fools.
