Get me this DIY USB Desk Bell for my desk immediately! I plan to place it on said desk and use it to command an army of interns to do my bidding and/or a Pavlov’s Dog activity involving coffee,

Actually, to be a bit more serious, this DIY project is a bit more involved than that. The bell goes beyond mere human manipulation and actually dings when you receive emails, instant messages or whatever else you might need a notification for.

    That is the most terrible thing to be invented for an office ever after ringtones and that alert noise Outlook makes for urgent emails.
