RIM Is Letting Go 11% Of Its Employees

Almost in the same breath that RIM announced it had purchased video editing company JayCut, it’s also said they’re letting go of 11 per cent of its employees, which equates to around 2000 jobs.

The top tier of employees is also being reshuffled, with its COO retiring – no sign of one of its two CEOs stepping down as rumoured, though. Best of luck to all those affected by the redundancies. [Reuters]
