In case you spent the weekend under a rock, Steam’s yearly sale for the US Summer has kicked off! You have until 3am Tuesday morning to pick up Day 4 specials like 50% off Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood (now $US20), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (now $US45), and ArmA II (now $US20). Monday, July 4, 2011 at 3:22 PMEveryone, hit up steamprices.com first to see if we still get hammered with the Australia Tax. then if it’s ridiculous (like I’m sure MW2 still is), ask a mate in the US if you have one to gift it to you.
AC:Brotherhood is the same price in the US though; bought that today :D

Monday, July 4, 2011 at 3:39 PMIt’s a shame we’re still getting ripped on some of the games. Like AC:B is the same price on the US steam store but at the moment MW2 is $19.99 where as here it’s $44.99.
Still I love the steam sales and always add more to my collection.

Monday, July 4, 2011 at 3:44 PMI would urge people to not piss away their money in the Activision Bank vault by paying their $45 for MW2, when the Americans only have to pay $20 for the exact same thing delivered over the internet.
Price region fixing is wrong and you should show that by not paying their rigged prices.

Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 11:56 AMhaha I love all you guys complaining about the prices on steam. are you serious? its the cheapest and easiest way to buy games, its all in the one place with a pretty solid community behind it. Sure MW:2 might still be expensive but who cares? everyone bought that for full price 2 years ago.
