Maxell’s SSB-1 Soundbar Destined For Budget Home Theatres

Maxell’s SSB-1 soundbar is by all definitions, a budget product. Combining two 7.5W speakers with a 15W subwoofer, the SSB-1 likely won’t send you into a state of awe. But at the same time, it’s only $US130.

Meant for “smaller TVs”, you can use the SSB-1 as a TV pedestal, provided it’s under 25kg. But the biggest bummer is that it only has 3.5mm miniplug inputs for audio. Those desiring RCA inputs need look elsewhere. The Maxell SSB-1 is available now. [Maxell]
