Jaw Dropping 360 Degree View Of Space Shuttle Discovery’s Cockpit

Gizmodo AU

Ever wanted a close up view of a space shuttle’s instrument panel? This amazing 360 degree virtual panorama was taken inside the Discovery’s flight deck during its decommissioning in the Orbiter Processing Facility.

You can spin around, zoom right in, and almost read what’s on the screens. And apparently they use Dell laptops. Who knew? Check it out at: [360VR via PC & Tech Authority]

    Revealed at last.
The whole thing is simply a flight sim running on a Dell.
    Kick-ass mechanical simulator though.
