This new iPad owner is either a pitiable fool or a brilliant troll. Apparently he’s been “trying for the past few hours” and is on the verge of giving up. Readers, do you have any advice for him? [Apple Support via ThisIsMyNext]
Apple actually uses a proprietry CD player for the iPad. In order to insert a CD into the iPad you need to first cut it into pieces small enough to fit into the “CD” slot on the bottom of the device. The user manual refers to this CD slot as a dock connector. The iPad will then reassemble the disk once all of the pieces have been loaded.
lol get a large phillips head screwdriver and jam it into the slot at the bottom of the laptop and pry the front screen panel off to access the DVD drive. Insert DVD > close lid > turn on and enjoy the pretty colours on the screen
CD playback requires an iOS upgrade to the latest Bornean Clouded Leopard update which can be purchased through the App Store for $30. This however will lack most features so you’ll need to then buy another 3rd party app after it is approved in 2yrs time.
Now that we have managed to get the disc into the machine, we need to watch, then remove the disc. Now, being the intelligent person that Michael K.W. is, I assume that he can watch the movie/listen to the songs/download pr0n. Removing the disc is a little bit harder that inserting it. Firstly, use a hair dryer to gently heat the frame. Next, very carefully pry the screen off the main body. The disc should be easily available to retrieve.

It’s a secret gesture that’s performed on the apple logo on the back of the device. You have to draw a circle clockwise and then poke the middle of it – Just imagine a cd. Then the back pops open to accept the disk. To eject you just draw the circle in the other direction. It’s actually quite intuitive. Trying to run Commodore 64 games off the tape deck is a lot harder so if I were you I’d stick with cd’s.
you need to get the cd app ( dosen’t matter which one, there’s heaps) once you have it, place cd on screen and spin it really fast so the screen can read the cd and all your songs will be on the ipad
I’m not sure if I’ve performing the secret gesture right, is it possible that they’re different for each iPad, and if so, how do I find out the gesture for mine?
