The glasses-less 3D effect is achieved using a new lenticular lens approach as opposed to the traditional parallax barrier. The new method allows for the 3D screen to be much brighter than before. Don’t get me wrong, 3D still sucks but it sounds like HItachi’s 3D won’t suck as bad. [Hitachi via CrunchGear]
