Since REDGroup (owners of Borders and Angus & Robertson) went belly up, Kobo users have been left wondering about access to Australian best sellers, even if they were reassured that books already purchased would remain safe. Enter publishing giant Pearson Australia.
Pearson’s acquisition of REDGroups’s online properties means that the Borders and Angus & Robertson web sites will continue to operate. The deal also includes an official agreement with Kobo to further reassure customers of continued access to their eBooks purchased through the above sites.
