A Machine That Changes Xbox 360 Discs For You

My TV has a remote. Ditto my surround sound. My Xbox 360 can be turned on remotely with my control pad. And yet, when I want to change the disc, I have to get up. On my feet. Which is never where I want to be.

To help overthrow the tyranny of distance, master console modifier Ben Heckendorn built himself an Xbox 360 disc-changing machine, built from the salvaged guts of an old 1990’s multi-CD player.

Linking its disc roulette with the Xbox 360 and an external controller, Ben’s now able to choose from over a dozen Xbox 360 games without ever needing to leave the couch.
