For $US300 one receives this ultra-compact, ultra-portable high chair with which helicopter parents can coddle their undoubtedly over-coddled child some more.
Price aside, Baby Bjon’s marketing this thing as an all-around indestructible baby-protector, complete with high chair FUD in the form of an image that shows an unattended baby climbing out of an inferior chair and standing precariously on the edge. Certain doom awaits this child. At least, doom is certain until you plunk down $US300 for a Baby Bjorn high chair, which is what good parents who love their children will do this September when it goes on sale.

Monday, June 6, 2011 at 12:05 PMUS$300 is less than half what you can spend on a highchair… try the Stokke chair or the bloom one! AU$700 – AU$800.
Kids can be pricey.
Or… they could be the $30 chair from ikea that looks fairly similar to the bjorn one.

Monday, June 6, 2011 at 2:43 PMThe Ikea highchair was the best $30 I had ever spent! Easy to clean, single piece seat and compact.
I have a Baby Bjorn carrier, but couldn’t justify the price of their other items. Far too expensive.
