This seems crazy but Steve Jobs supposedly stood before the Cupertino City Council on Tuesday and asked for permission to build a totally round building for Apple’s 12,000 employees on land Apple purchased from HP. “It’s a little like a spaceship,” he says while describing it. Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 7:18 PMi would rather leave this world with a bunch of my mates, family and windows + Android loving scientists, military, doctors, etc; Then give that chance to a bunch of crazy apple zelots, who quite frankly, dont deserve it

Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 8:18 AMI’ll never understand the need to leap to the attack every time someone posts an apple article. If you don’t like apple’s products don’t read the article. Why do you all feel the need to get fired up about it and post hate?

Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 5:03 PMNice design, but I was cringing at the questions those councillors were asking. A mixture of sucking up and asking the ‘tough’(dumb)questions. What was with free wi-fi? Ask if any of the gardens is accessible for recreation by the public maybe, but wi-fi? I would have liked to see if apple had any interest in making it a environmentally sustainable building etc.

Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 5:10 PMThe people on the council are so stupid. Such a waste of time talking to them.

Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 5:16 PMSo this entire building has curved glass…and apple recently purchased glass curving machines…but people speculated it was for the iphone…perhaps…http://www.gizmodo.com.au/2011/05/rumour-iphone-5-to-have-curved-glass-screen/
perhaps not?

Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 6:56 PMPut some sort of mass collider in there. Great design for a particle accelerator!
Perhaps they can discover the elusive wankertronium? That would advance us in leaps and bounds in the field of expensive branded consumer electronics…

Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 11:37 PMSteve’s answer to benefit to cupertino:
Do I care, don’t I own this council? Like the council would piss off apple.

Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 2:51 AMSteve knows how to talk to different audiences.
At Apple events when announcing products, Steve is arrogant and passionate.
When talking to the city council, he seems humble and respectful.
