Sony’s Vaio Z Is A Whopping $4000 In Oz, Covered In Gold!

That stylish new Vaio Z from yesterday could be one of the nicest little laptops this side of the MacBook air, but $4000? Yikes. If it’s any consolation, the external GPU-equipped machine will arrive in either black or gold. Hmm.

The gold edition (which in person seemed more bronze to my eyes) will be exclusive to the Sony Centre and Sony Store when both models launch in July. See below for specs identical to both machines. As a side note, I did check: these same specs cost about the same in the UK.
